A stroll around the centre of Windsor in the vicinity of the castle & then a walk across the bridge into Eton High Street. Mainly straight forward, observational questions but near the end of the route there are 3 or 4 cryptic ones to reflect the learned atmosphere of the nearby college .

Chester City Walls

A walk around the pathway that tops the city walls, starting at the Victoria Memorial Clock in the town centre. Quite a straightforward quiz where many (but not all) the answers can be found on the excellent information plaques that are found on the route.

Chester Cryptic

A complete circumference of the old city using the pathway that is the city walls, starting at the Victoria Memorial Clock in the town centre and walking anticlockwise. Same route as the above, but more demanding, mentally.

Chester Historical Centre

You start at the Cross in the centre of the city, where Bridgegate, Watergate, Northgate & Eastgate all meet. Then take a walk down each of these streets to identify the answers.

Cheshire, Sandbach & Middlewich

A circular route, starting & finishing in the Cheshire town of Sandbach, with a short tour of the country lanes between Sandbach & Middlewich. The route crosses the Trent & Mersey Canal. Take time, whilst in Middlewich, to visit the canal side & the Big Lock.

County Durham, Barnard Castle

A short circular walk around the historical market town of Barnard Castle. Questions work well for either a family exploration of the town or groups of adults.

County Durham, Durham Town centre

This route starts & finishes in the market square, calling by the cathedral before wondering off down to and across the river Wear. Durham is perched on top of a hill surrounded on three sides by the river Wear. This route involves a couple of steepish climbs up cobblestone streets.

A short walking route from one end of Gloucester's pedestrianised town centre to the other, starting at St Nicholas church in Westgate Street & finishing at Brunswick Road. While in Gloucester, its worth visiting the renovated historic docks area.

Hampshire, Southampton

A walk starting & finishing at Bargate in the city centre. The route heads down the High Steet towards the dock gates, then along the dock road before doubling back to the town centre. Along the way it takes in many features that reflect the city's history, from medieval times to the 20th century.

Hampshire, Stockbridge to Romsey

Starting in the small town of Stockbridge, west of Winchester, this driving route meanders around some narrow country lanes before finishing in Romsey.

Hampshire, Wimborne to Verwood

This driving route starts with a few questions to answer on foot in the town centre of Wimborne, near Poole. The drive then takes you first along the road to Blandford, with its wonderful avenue of trees around you, before turning off into some quiet backroads of Dorset before finishing in Verwood.   (Dorset)

A walk starting on Westminster Bridge & finishing at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, passing the London Eye, Festival Hall, Gabriel's Wharfe, the Millenium Bridge & the Tate Modern on the way. No map for this one as it follows the riverside footpath.

A drive through some of the narrower country lanes that lie on the border between Norfolk & Suffolk. The questions are not so hard but you will be either very lucky or very skilled if you manage not to get lost at some stage. Beccles is west of Lowestoft, just off the A146.
