Yorkshire's Wolds - East of Driffield

This route starts & finishes in the market town of Driffield. On the way you visit the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall (no need to pay an entrance fee in order to answer the questions on this route, but a tour of the stately home itself is worth it if you have an hour or two extra to spare).

	There is free car parking very close to the centre of Driffield. Market days are Thursday and Saturday (busy). Plenty of places for refreshment in Driffield.
During World War II this area was the location for several air fields. On this route you pass through Lissett , which was the home for a squadron of Halifax bombers. The old air field still witnesses the spinning of propellers, but nowadays these are on wind turbines, not bomber aircraft.
