Canterbury
A popular place for pilgrims in the past & now a magnet for tourists from around the world, Canterbury is at the very centre of England's story. The streets within its walls provide plenty of material for a Clues To Go route. Although the cathedral grounds are well worth a visit, you do not have to enter them to locate any of the answers.
Although, as in all towns & cities, Canterbury High Street is lined with familiar chain store names, most have been integrated into the ancient architecture of the city. Apart from a short section outside the city walls, most of this route keeps to the pedestrianised medieval centre.
