Bingham to Melton Mowbray

This drive starts in the busy little town of Bingham, just off the A46. After a brief diversion around some local backroads, it heads for Belvoir Castle, home of the Duke of Rutland. Although it is worth a visit, this route does not include the castle. Instead it circles the stately home and then takes the scenic way to Melton Mowbray. |

The town centre of Melton Mowbray is a good place to conclude this route, with a few questions to be answered on foot before you indulge in a locally made pork pie or some stilton cheese. |
