Saltaire to Bingley Locks |
A visit to two of the finest monuments to Britain's industrial revolution. Saltaire, a purpose-built mill town and now a World Heritage Site, and Bingley 3 & 5 rise locks on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The two sites visited are located just a few miles apart - the route takes in the pleasant 2.5 mile tow path walk that links the towns. This is a walking route that is suitable for families or groups. The questions are generally quite straight forward. |
