Lincoln City Walk

Lincoln's Historic centre is full of interesting buildings and ruins dating from Roman times, through the middle ages and into the 20th century. This route highlights some of these, though it would be a shame not to allow time to linger & inspect the Castle, cathedral, Bishops Palace & Roman artifacts in greater depth. The start is at the top of the hill. The street called 'Steep Hill' is named this for a reason. Its a precipious cobbled drop that links the old town with the new.

Caistor, circular tour of the Wolds

A circular route starting & finishing in the small town of Caistor, this route tours the backroads of the northern Lincolnshire Wolds - a delight on a sunny day, peaceful at any time of year. Caistor is located southwest of Grimsby. Turning off the M180 at Brigg you take the A1084 into the town.

Market Rasen & Caistor

A circular route starting in Market Rasen and making a stopover at Caistor while touring this beautiful, quiet part of the county of Lincolnshire. You can reach Market Rasen on the A46 north from Lincoln.
